At present there is one permanent character at the centre of
– the founder, Marc Gorman.
Most of the time, people make their way to a European Institution, such as ESA, as a career objective, as the crowning of a long and arduous path through industry.
Flying in the face of this – in the manner of Exocoetidae on a wild Atlantic day - Marc Gorman has done it the other way round: starting off with institutional experience at ESA and then transferring this knowledge to industry. There is a lot to be said for this approach: it allows discovering large programmes and industrial policy at a young age, and then proceeds to the more result-oriented, financially perilous world of industry in a phase where experience is useful.
